At the Clinton Chiropractic & Wellness Centre, it is our goal to help restore the human body's ability to heal and function optimally. Chiropractic is the philosophy, science and art of things natural; the system of adjusting the spine for the correction of the cause of dis-ease.

A central premise of chiropractic is that vertebral misalignments or dysfunctions occur in the spine and can produce interferences in the function of the nervous system, which can have remarkable effects, some of which can lead to impairing an individual's health and performance. These misalignments are referred to in chiropractic as subluxations. Chiropractors have years of training to detect and correct vertebral subluxations to allow for optimal spinal and body health. As chiropractors, we not only examine the spine and nervous system, but we also evaluate the overall health of the patient. We do this so we can provide the best and most appropriate care for each of our patients.


Chiropractic Techniques Used at Our Office

As Doctors of Chiropractic, we spend years in school, learning and acquiring additional training, and years in practice, perfecting our chiropractic adjusting techniques. We try to offer a variety of techniques to meet everyone's adjusting needs and comfort levels.


Diversified – is a hands-on adjusting style


Thompson – is a technique that uses drop pieces in our adjusting tables and usually little force


Activator and Impulse Instrument – uses more of a light and/or fast tapping sensation adjusting


Pediatric and Geriatric – training and modifications needed for adjusting all ages


Chiropractic Care Is for All Ages

From newborn babies to seniors and every age in between, everyone should have their spine checked by a spinal expert. As much as it is a necessity that we have a dentist, everyone should have a chiropractor for their family.


Causes of Poor Spinal Health

  1. Trauma – accidents, falls, sports injuries, repetitive movements, etc.
  2. Toxins – improper diet, some medications, exposure to poor air, environmental and household factors
  3. Mental – stress, negative thought patterns, etc.
